If anyone is interested somewhere I've got a video of a quadraplegic jiu jitsu competition. Well more accurately its one able bodied guy vs a quadraplegic. It is really good viewing, and quite amazing what he can do. If its not proof you can still do MA with less only one arm, I dont know what is.

I notice fluorescent lights, monitors, and TV screens. Not keen on being in the same room as a Tv if I'm not watching it...even then, its not great. Only comfortable infront an LCD at 75Hz. The montiros response rate could have an effect on your vision too, but mines at 2ms so I wouldnt see it anywa...

Ok I tested this earlier on a pretty sturdy cardboard box and it hacked it to bits no problems. getting wood that long with no knots in can be tricky, as well as getting it straight, might be better off trying a wooden knife of some design, a copy of a wooden tanto maybe?

would give you a nice area for getting used to chisels, or other blades/wood working tools you might use.
