I recently acquired one of the new model Cold Steel ODA knives in the krupp stainless steel. As soon as I picked it up it felt too light. I have the UWK and SRK in Carbon V and they feel much weightier. The ODA edge was not shaving sharp out of the box so I spent a good 30 minutes with the fine grad...

I have an assegai spear from CS as well. It needed a bit of whittling and sanding to get the head onto the shaft properly. Once it was on it is pretty solid. The supplied grub screw is probably not making a significant difference to the retention of the spear head on the shaft.

This is called a paratrooper knife or pantograph knife. United Cutlery and Smith & Wesson both made their own versions. This particular one has German text embossed on it, which is shown more clearly on a detail pic I found on a well known auction site. Text shows SS logo followed by Streifendierst....

Cold Stee Warrior Tanto

Picked one of the above up as a "slight second" - smallest of small dings in the saya. Having a couple of other CS tantos - oyabun and recon - I was expecting something of similar size. Boy was I wrong. The warrior tanto blade is around 14 inches, and the handle is circa 6 inches, so it looks closer...
