I'm glad I made this decision, seeing as the GO gen 1 seems very limmited stock. I never knew it was. Does that mean it'll be worth a lot of money one day? lol! I suppose if I maintain it well too. Which I shall be doing. I liked the decription that came along with this katana? Especially being on a...

Well, the decision was made. And I went for.....dum dum duummm....The GO gen 1. With all the advise and recomendations on it, I thought this would be best suited. It was really a big battle between the GO or Bushy. I still love the Bushy so might get that later in time, but for now 1st choice was GO...

Ok, let's all just calm down now. I've already sent an email to Moon apologising for being snappy. And I apologise to all that I upset. I am just very fed up of initial judgements. And I've had a lot of stick and prejudice in my life for being female. I just wanted you guys to stop thinking that I'm...

You're all a laugh, fantastic! And believe me, I go to a dojo with rowdy guys and....wait for it....shared changing areas! A good set of boxer shorts never fails and a female sports top. Like I said, I feel more sorry for you guys with your boxes and hairy chests. Honestly, sometimes when I grab the...

I enjoy debating too :D No worries, I think what you're saying is good stuff. I could chat to someone like you for hours. I think there's nothing better than a good chat about strategies and real life situations. Hence why I don't like kata's (oooh big debate coming on now) haha! No, I don't see the...

Thanks you for your suggestions. I will have a look into the Bushido, Tsunami and Golden Oriole. As for you Moon, it's time to take off your glasses of prejudice and step into the real world. Just because I am female does not mean I cannot handle a heafty, beefy sword. I am actually a weight lifter ...

I do apologies but I have to disagree. I find my reaction is definitely fast enough. I've never gone wrong with it in a street fight. Of course, there is attack in a defence, i.e. a pressure point hit. I think I said, but I'll say again, I also don't go for locks when there's more than one attacker....

What Katana?

Thanks for everyone's advice on my questions about the PC Orchid. It doesn't seem like, after all, it's the right Katana for me. Can anyone advise me what would be preferrable for me. I'm 5'6" in height, like an aesthetically pleasing sword (which the Orchid is), but one that will withstand and perf...

Well, yes I like the looks of a sword, that's important to me as I study the ways of the Samurai, i.e. the sword is the warriors soul. But I am going to be using the sword for tameshigiri. So, I would like one that looks nice, but more important is how it cuts. So, what I meant by looks aren't impor...

I've been in quite a few street fights. I don't agree with them at all, but unfortunately scum out there do. I grew up in Essex which is a harsh place. I also moved to around Manchester when I was 12. There was no such thing as argument or discussions in Essex, there was just rolling up your sleeves...
