Re: Which Blades WWII German Historical Sword?

Flip a coin? It just depends what style of sword you'd think they would like, no much difference between them and their price is identical, personally I like the one with the hand guard as its kind of like a strait cavalry sword. I was thinking that myself, personally i like the first one...

Re: Question about selling a Sword?

I'm not sure about Gumtree but I know eBay wont let you, and as Gumtree is owned by eBay I'm guessing the answer will be no too. Best thing to do is contact Loz via the B-UK website and arrange for him to sell it for you. Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply! Well i can report that you were corre...

Best Roman Sword to buy right now?

I'm looking for a Roman sword, a Gladius, or maybe a Sparta. I cant find any Hanwei ones, i believe they're discontinued. Are the John Barnett ones any good? Cold Steel Gladius Machete? The SC is a little light and machete'ish i think... Any advice for what these are like or are there any other kind...

Renaissance Wax Question

Hello, I bought some Renaissance wax through the week. I dont really know what to make of it. I've read the instructions and watched videos and whatnot, they all say apply some with a cloth, and when it dries (instantly) buff off with a clean cloth, to a shine. Now i tried that, but it seems to dry ...

Re: What alcohol for blade cleaning?

They come in different percentages of alcohol/water mix, i've mostly seen 70% alcohol and 99% alcohol. I read the higher the percentage of alcohol the better for cleaning metal items (as it contains les...

What alcohol for blade cleaning?

There's so many different types, like i was wondering maybe panel wipe degreaser that car body stores use? Or methylated spirits? Lighter fluid? Rubbing alcohol/thinner...
