Re: New Lone Wolf and Cub

Hey Mick, I doubt very much you would like the stories anyway. I found the story lines very convoluted and hard to follow, overall I was rather disappointed with the series. Had a few good moments that only a hard core martial artist would recognize that would be lost by most others. I can't see man...

Re: New Lone Wolf and Cub

The eleventh and final volume of this series has been published.
Has anybody else here been following this continuing story line besides me?

Re: Season's Greetings

Truth of the matter is, Social media is destroying society as we "used" to know it. Unless you are under 20 or so. People are becoming mindless automons right out of a science fiction movie. Note I didn't say book as no one reads anymore. I remember as a kid having to read books like Fahre...

Re: Season's Greetings

Social media?
What is that?
Some sort of English thing or something?
Just joking.
Although I don't use it myself (not joking)
This Old dog has difficulties with new tricks.

Mick,
Just talked to Bob and Goose, both are doing well and Bob is just as irrepressible as ever.

Season's Greetings

Season's Greetings from across the pond!! I know it is a couple of weeks early but I see the forum is a bit dead lately and maybe this will start something. BTW, I've heard on your side of the pond you're a bit PC, hence the season's greetings. For my friends Mick and Moon, I wish you a merry christ...

Re: toilet humour or dont crap in my car

First time I ever took my dog for a ride in the car he got scared and left a giant steaming pile in the back seat that immediately stunk up the entire car. I took a magazine (that I hadn't read yet) scooped it up and threw it on the side of the street. Not funny when it happens to you. I worked in a...

Re: new blades damascus lazer print care advice from you experts

I really miss you guys and the old days back on that other forum. Me too, some really good old boys with a sense of humour and a wealth of knowledge there, now lost forever. This is why you can never replace BOOKS ! The Internet is worthless for any kind of reliable information as it can be lost or...

Re: B. UK Subhilt knife

Here in the U.S you can buy a rubberized tape used for plumbing, it is black and the rubberized tape actually melts together after a time and becomes one piece. I have used it on my knives and it worked quite well being waterproof as well for outdoor usage. I don't know if you have a similar product...

Re: new blades damascus lazer print care advice from you experts

I can't correct something that's right from all that I've read over many years but as the old Japanese proverb goes... If you believe everything that you read; it is better not to read. ;) It's good to see you and Mick are still posting advice, it really warms my heart to see you two are still arou...

Am I the only one here who is sick of replying to new members, asking questions or looking for advice, that never log in again? Actually that was me posting under a bunch of assumed names. I was just trying to keep you and Mick sharp! LOL ;) Glad to see you and Mick are still about and trying to ke...

Re: home thing

First of all, I said you "acted" liked spoiled juveniles.
Not that you were, unfortunately, I know you are adults, which makes it sadder.
Not going to say anymore, as the posts above just proved my point.

Re: home thing

Mel, Being a mod on a gaming forum and being a mod on a sword forum is two different things. Playing video games and discussing swords are different subjects to be addressed differently. Very few moderators don't even know the role a moderator is supposed to play on a forum. Mick is behaving as a mo...

Re: home thing

goose, You wouldn't have to worry about geordie burgularing your Nihon-To. All your katanas are displayed properly. He wouldn't be able to figure out which ones were the Nihon-To! ROFLMAO!! BTW, goose is lying. Unless you were a kid, any adult breaking into his home would be finished. They would nev...
