A well made sword is much nicer to look at than a cheap stainless one, so thats people buy them despite not being trained with them, Half of all training is common sense! IMHO 8)

I studied martial arts before i started to buy swords, its only in the past year ive started to collect swords, prior to that i just used a bokken really 8)

I dont think sharpening the PC tai chis would be a good idea personally :shock: it might ruin the look of the blade.
