The 50cm limit only applies to blades which are not made using the traditional method, so you can legally buy and own any of the swords on the main site regardless of blade length.

Best to phone Blades-UK, nobody here works for the company except for the owner who pops in occasionally when he has the time, another site which no longer stocks it states... Q. How much does the sword weigh? A. The sword weighs 16 pounds by itself. ...could be a different manufacturer though. :S
