Re: Something new coming for moi...

I've pretty much fell in love with the gen 2 Tiger but it costs a cool 1K (damn that hanwei fire for forcing the prices up) Gone are the days when you could get a brand spanking new Hanwei Tiger daisho with enough change from £1K to buy a quality stand, a large slab of Stella and have a good curry ...

Re: About the website of blades-uk

Also would be good to give the items more specifik details like for example: not all swords details say it is a full tang or half tang sword or it is a "ready to battle" or an item for "ornament". :) Welcome to the forum. It's illegal in the UK to advertise blades etc. as "ready to battle" or any o...

Re: Best value for money functional katanas available in the

Just for the record, Marc Kaden Ridgeway, the 'Super Moderator' who does many reviews on SBG forum these days has his own site selling the Ronin range of katana so he's hardly likely to ever post anything but great stuff about the swords that he sells, is he? :| Same goes for other US retailers who ...

Re: Best value for money functional katanas available in the

Damn, I keep looking at the Ronin Dojo Pro again and again :| Buy it then! It's my experience on this and other forums that no matter what advice is given, a potential purchaser will get what they think is the best anyway and as you don't appear to have had any formal training in Iaido/Iaijutsu/Ken...

Re: Professional Viking Sword

Welcome to the forum 'Nix'.
The only Admin' who can give specifics is Loz (Lawrence, the owner of blades-uk.com) as nobody else here works for B-UK, there's a chance that somebody else will have one of course but your best bet is to phone. ;)

I like the contrast in the finish of the kabuto and mempo personally - makes it look more traditional IMHO.

Katana wa Bushi no tamashii (The Sword Is the Soul of the Samurai) for starters but I'm sure that somebody will find something better or more to your liking, it's from...
