Yup, i agree guys. I have shot compound, recurve with all the gimicks on em and traditional longbow, imho they deskill the art. I love the longbow, mine only pulls 45lb@28", and i shoot from 50 yards normally. I don't use any sighting system other than my instincts. Its the way i always envisaged do...

Seph, sounds good! Your club is the other side of coronation park isn't it? My family home is on nottingham road (the 'other' side of the park). Although i don't live there anymore, eastwood was my childhood stomping ground and backyard.

Hi, I train in classical iaido in nottingham and i love it, it complements my aikido perfectly. There is also a a Kendo/iaido/jodo club at the YMCA in notts city centre.
