Another question: when measuring for fit, is it always best to round fractions up?

ie: head measurement = 61.2cm therefore round up to 62cm (??)

I would imagine so.... you can pad the headgear out but it's kinda hard to stretch something like that out. Better to be looking at it than for it mate.

That'd make you a 7 5/8 hat size.

Yup, as the hatchamn says. Are you using the measuring system from 3 x 3 round thingies? if so, its a good guide, but they certainly don't tailor make it. They just pull the nearest equivalent size off the shelf.

So....staz.........when you coming over to Kashi No Ki Kenyu Kai to give me a beatin' ? 1/2/3

Cheers for the info guys :D

I've been wanting to visit Kashi actually, I used to train there a few years ago when I first took up kendo. I'm hoping I'll be in a position to return by the summer.

Baby's due in 10 days!! Thats why I'm buying the bogu now, then its all ready for when I go back (H)
