possibly the worst martial arts video ive seen.... ever. and this is why i hate TQD with the heat of a nova. pointless posturing, mixed with bad dancing.

It took me about half hour to watch the full thing, lol. Did you get as far as the guy on speed, though? Hell, that's worth a watch :D

Defence against a punch: block. Right roundhouse, left reverse round house, left roundhouse, right reverse round house. Right jump spinning kick, another one, another one, an another one, then stumble and recover into a loose "ready" stance.

Flipping hilarious :)

But I try not to mock too much, not like I can really do better. Having said that, I'm not claiming to be a 5th Dan :p

They all look fairly young to reach 5th Dan, what's the grading system like in TKD? It must be pretty fast.

yeh TKD is insanely fast grading, my mate reached black belt in about 2/3 years. gotta love the weapon defences in that vid, espcially the gun, since he is in the path of the barrel for about three counter attacks haha.

As long as your smart enough to realize that the attacker will move more then just once and not stand there to take your 20 kicks in a row, then you are better.

My orange belt forms are more complicated then those, and I atleast hope they look better then theirs.

also... that they have 2 hands, and wont stand there with one on their hip, doing their impression of a teapot.

Ha, I learn those things pretty fast sparring with James, after a couple of clouts to the head or chest, you learn what don't work :D

the guy on the far left at the start of the video is so stiff and obviously "overthinking" his movements that i was truly embarrassed to watch it, gives a truly shocking perspective onto the mcdojo fodder that is roaming the streets.......sad..

i dont blame the art so much as the money hungry dojo/federations etc

kind regards
