Midlanders?

After a jolly good mooch around the forums, it seems that there are a fair few Midlanders here.

Whereabouts are you all and what do you do, MA-wise?

On occasion i train with/under Dave. My home dojo is Kashi No Ki Kenyu Kai in Ollerton. But Rob Wix is a good friend of mine and he often teaches iai and kendo at Do Yu Kai.

My iai is not part of the BKA. We train in St. Anns and in Radcliffe.

Scott. The iai i study is MJER, part of Roshukai. It teaches classical iai and not seitei as the BKA does.
I've actually not practiced for a while, cos of time constraints, but its something i'll never give up....and always go back to.

Is your teacher Brian Morrison then? I know a fair few of the Eikoku Roshukai...

I practice iai, kendo & kenjutsu - the iai with the BKA (seitei and MJER).

Yes mate. Brian is my iai and aikijujitsu sensei.....and also a considered mentor and friend.

At 71 years of age, his wealth of experience and power is truly admireable.
