I hope that isn't sarcasm!

.....

This is the reforged blade of Narsil, the sword wielded by Aragorn, King of Gondor. The inscription down the length of the blade on both sides is in the Tolkien, written in the runes of Eregion, that say: "Nányë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordórëo". This translates to: "I am Andúril who was Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the thralls of Mordor flee me." "The Sword of Elendil was forged anew by elvish smiths, and on its blade was traced a device of seven stars set between the crescent Moon and the rayed Sun, and about them were written many runes; for Aragorn son of Arathorn was going to war upon the marches of Mordor. Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone readily in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Andúril, Flame of the West."

---Sorry, I just copied and pasted that paragraph from the EBay auction. I can't be bothered with typing!

EDIT: BTW, it arrived today, I CAN'T BELIEVE I ONLY PAYED £67 for a £200 (or something close) SWORD!!!!!

...sorry, I get overexcited. Please ignore me by all means! I'm a nutcase ^__^

...the photos I put up above aren't of the one I have... although I don't actually know what "tempered" means! Either way, it's only a wallhanger, and the blade is nice and shiny. (H)

lol, no, the runes aren't painted on... theyre sort of engraved into the blade, with some sort of dark metal dye in them. Please forgive me if I sound stupid, because I am a total noob when it comes to swords and metal in general!

But I think £67 for ANY 53" sword is decent, whether it's SS or not. But as you can see in the photo I put up earlier, this sword was made in PAKISTAN??? Is it common for a sword replica to be made in pakistan???

The official ones I made in Taiwan if memory serves. Personally I worry if I see Pakistan written on a blade but thats just my opinion

very, but they are mostly fakes - copies of a licensed item sold cheaper and usually lesser in quality. But if you don't mind that and the item itself looks good enough for you, then i say you got a good deal for an Anduril replica.
