Well those sure give a good idea what this sword looks like.

I'm not sure I like the wrapping on the tsuka. Is that suede?

The rest of the fittings are pretty plain as well.

Verdict: Not for me.

Looks like suede ito and that's the only thing that spoils it for me.
Brown and white sageo would look nice IMO.

I thought the Bo Hi was a good addition.

If yer gonna be paying that kinda money, might as well make it £500 for the Bushido. You get a similar looking katana with superior fittings and a folded blade.

Yep,you're probably right but a lot of people don't like the Tsuba on the Bushido, now if the Tori Tsuba was on it,they could be selling much better,IMO.

There's not a smilie on earth that could express my amazement at people not liking the bushido tsuba. If they changed it then I would fly off to china and get a nice big rifle and shoot every employee responsible before they could stab me/throw something pointy at me.

Its disgusting! Then again all the fitting on the bushido are disgusting! The blade is the only good bit :D

To be honest, I prefer the Tori to the Bushido. I do actually like the Bushido's tsuka, it's different and suits it, but it's too slight a sword for someone of my size.

I'm 6'4'' so I like my katana's to either be long or chunky.
