Well,I'm sure as hell glad that I didn't post in this thread until now.Larnz wrote:Ah now I can see them. Well if indeed that sword does belong to you then there's a lot of people on here with egg on their face this evening.

Nice 'looking' blade but WTF happened here?

I don't wanna p*ss on anybody's chips but seppa protruding the kazuka-ana on any koshirae is all wrong and in this case by waaaaaaay too much,I can state with certainty that the tsuba does not belong to this sword.

i see larns we will just have to wait and see what he has to say for himself regards mick

Re: got a tamahagane sword before ban
i ordered it in a wave theme. it' s bit unconfortable to choke up on the grip, as your hand touches the rough detailing, but never mind. i could always adjust the guard to fit more tightly. it's a bit heavy for iai at 1k but not too heavy. when the time comes i'm sure i will not notice the extra bulk. maybe put a masahiro guard on it, i don't see it being a problem though. the blade collar is a bit rough too, as someone said. tbh it is probably due to getting it shipped before the ban, but it came off the forge in Oct last year.

Re: got a tamahagane sword before ban
He's not exactly a regular like the rest of us so there's no reason for him to post about such an order in advance, especially if he wasn't 100% it would arrive in time. Bottom line is he told us all he had something, we all said he was full of sh*t, he proved us wrong and now we just gotta live with it. A lesson learnt me thinks

Re: got a tamahagane sword before ban
I was shocked to see him displaying it on a masahiro stand, let alone the thought of putting one of their tsubas on it
