Lol no, that sword you showed me in pm was in great condition and why it is wrapped in a Cuban flag baffels me, it looks post edo but it's certainly not over 600 years old

Well Musashi is said to be the father of 2 weapon style that store claims that this sword was either designed for a samurai of smaller stature or for fighting paired with a wakisashi if Musashi was the founder of fighting with 2 weapons how was this sword made before his birth designed for 2 weapon combat? This sugests that Ross is right with his idea of the dating

Also many people prior to musashi fought with two weapons, he was one of the famed few that pulled it off successfully and lived to write about it.

If it's post Edo that means it was made after 1868 during the Meiji period when the Samurai class was abolished.
