:-?
I was origionally in the market for the kami, and i would'nt mind paying £1000 for a good sword, however after much deliberation i concluded the kami would be impractical for my use. As the blade is too long and the weapon as a whole is too heavy.

Are you measuring from tip to tsuba? the nagasa of a sword is measured from tip tp mune-machi, the notch at the top of the habaki on the back of the blade. could explain your extra inch in length. :-D

Hey stark im sorry couldnt find anything about the fantasy katana but i believe it is quite similar in lenght to a musashi myaoto katana , the fantasy has a long tsuka( 14 inch and a half ) and a full tang about 9-10 inch and probably a blade lenght of about 29 inch and a half an wight about 3 pounds .

COuldnt say about the thickness our other stats on that sword dont own it... probly will somday. :-D
