I would love a two handed, pattern welded leaf blade. With a equally finely made leather scabbard.

The ability to glow blue in the presence of mythical beasts i would consider an optional extra. :D

If it was a katana blade it would have to be made by Howard Clark ...if it was a euro type sword I'd either go to Rob Miller of Castle Keep or Randal Graham in the USA...it's about time I got me a good longsword....

I love this.

Itll be folded, perfect size for me. My GO is a bit big but i still love her to death. If id the money id get a shorter tsuka, folded blade GO.

My custom would be

Dark green silk Ito.
Fittings of an irish nature, platinum and jade knotwork.
Platinum and jade tsuba, in a celtic pattern two intertwined crosses.
Platinum menuki. Possibly two knotwork peices again.
Acid etched family crest where the kami is on the PC Kami.

DS How soft is platinum, would it make a good Habaki?

id really quite like me a claymore with a patternd blade
with the MacKintosh , MacIntosh , McIntosh crest emblazoned on the guard. nothing to big or flashy - but noticeable
i wouldnt have the name put on it to many spellings + it would give a kind of cryptic edge

I'd have a fully functional 'Hadhafang' with 24ct gold fittings, folded steel blade with the etchings also inlaid with 24ct gold

I would also get a Functional Hadhafang :D .. maybe with a smaller knife version of it that goes on the side of the scabbard.

I'd like a folded blade rapier with a black basket guard with a small rapier inlaid into the guard with gold leaf. And with a white leather wrap on the handle....And lets add a small saffire at the bottom of the handle.

And a shirasaya katana like this *EDIT link removed* but with damascus-looking markings on the saya and a damascus blade.

*Edit* sorry mate but that site links to other sword retailers

It's not a retailer....whoever removed the link...If you actually looked, you'd see that. But it's highly possible I'm being blind. I just couldn't find a single price, or place to order or a link to a place to order....
