Hey Lygro :)
I had my eye on the Ikazuchi Katana myself, but I doubt I'll have the money for it anytime soon. Heres some facts on the blade:
- It's a hand forged blade. This in itself is a good thing.
- The blade has been folded 9 times.
- It has 1792 layers, meaning that the carbon content is very well spread out.
- The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 58, meaning the blade is VERY hard.
- It's very sharp, perfectly suitable for cutting.
- The blade is 3/4 tang, but most people say its closer to full tang, so it's functional.
- The saya (scabbard) is made out of wood and has a black piano finish.
- The tsuka (handle) is made of hardwood, with ray skin wrapping (the best type).
- The ito is real leather.

Its part of the United Black range from United Cutlery. I hope this helps :)
