Do we have any shooters here? With Semi-auto experience?

Post by wtf? » Sat Oct 12, 2013 2:45 pm

Hi all...

Basically I'm looking to see if any shooters are knocking about (just on the offchance) and if there are... Do any of you have experience with tactical type auto's? (prefereably the HK416 and S&W 15-22... Or anything based around a M4). Looking for an option on build, reliability, accuracy, etc.

Hi

M16 and m4, I used the m4 on cqb and fibua training and fired the m16 for weapon familiarization training back in thr late 80,s.

Hi

Just as a follow on they were both good weapons, especially the m4 very fast to bring on target and good grouping at short to mid range the m16 was too long in buildings but fine on the ranges and open country both very reliable.

Hi Conner

The AK 47 was a good weapon but the rounds were to big, the Ak74 was better as the rounds were smaller so hou could carry more for less weight.

While I agree with what you lads are saying, I believe the rifles that Wraith is asking about are in ·22 cal of which I have no experience.

I've not fired the m4, or ak47, but I've trained with the SA80 during a brief stint in the forces, that was semi auto, rather accurate.

I'm sure you can find shooting range days that let you fire a verity of weapons like the m4 and other semi- auto rifles, not sure if your allowed to use full auto weapons on those range days?

No chance, full autos were banned in 1937 and semi-autos have been restricted to ·22 LR since 1988.

Hi Barry
When used as semi auto I had a 2" grouping with 10 rounds at 200 yds
as to my last post it should have read 3.25 secs(getting to be a forgetful old fart)
:D
