New Lone Wolf and Cub

Postby Dotanuki2K » Tue Aug 12, 2014 5:01 pm

To any who may be interested,

The creator of Lone Wolf and Cub, Kazuo Koike, has decided to continue the story of Lone Wolf and Cub after the previous ending, following and continuing Daigoro's storyline.
It is released by Darkhorse Publishing and follows the same format as previous books (paperback, B&W, manga, short stories). It also has in the first book, commentaries by the creator giving new insight and explanation into the saga.
I have the first book and would give it 5 of 5 stars.

The eleventh and final volume of this series has been published.
Has anybody else here been following this continuing story line besides me?

Hey Mick,
I doubt very much you would like the stories anyway.
I found the story lines very convoluted and hard to follow, overall I was rather disappointed with the series.
Had a few good moments that only a hard core martial artist would recognize that would be lost by most others.
I can't see many first time readers carrying enough about the story to buy all eleven books (volumes).
I'm a collector of all the Lone Wolf books and converging stories (Samurai Executioner, Hattori Hanzo, etc.) , so I was just trying to see if any here shared the same interest.
And trying to generate some discussion on the forum.
