Now this is interesting... You need to proof-read these before you post them, Mr. Monk. It's full of mistakes.

It's good, though, very original. I approve.

Here lies the account of [- data missing-] concerning the [- data missing-] on the [8/05/2049]----------------------------------------

Blackmoon awoke. His eyes stung and vision blurred. He shuddered as he felt a cool sensation across his body, looking around he instantly realised where he was... within the Scourge's biomass, soon his antibodies would lose the fight and the infection penatrate him.

Meanwhile....

The small green blip on the 3d radar became more rapid, flashing a strobe like pattern from Silentfires gauntlet. Intermitantly she looked up, tracing her way through rubble of flattened houses and small shops. Only the burnt out concrete superstructure remained on some; others were little more than mounds like some sort of unmarked grave of an entire family. Some how it seems fitting she thought, remembering more of the past... In 2039 the GDC had assumed power of North America and Britian, it enforced Genome screening for those who could resist phase 1 S-583Rge infection. Millions of families from thousands of cities that weren't selected waited in their homes and died as the scourge enveloped their neighbourhoods.

A tear escaped the corner of the young womans eye but was quickly superceeded by a sharp crackle on Silentfires comlink.

"Agent 095-AbNeg, this is Matak. What the hell are you doing down there?"

Crackle filled the small earphone.

"I have to find him sir." she said in a detached voice. Meanwhile clambering through a continuning mountain of rubble and metal.

"We are measuring over 30% airborne infection and three battle groups of gnomes and subums scattered within 1 km of you." He said this time firmer.

"Blackmoon is dead. You know it" He added with a caring voice.

"I'm not leaving whilst there's still a hope."

The man let out a long sigh momentarily rubbing his eyes with the base of his palms. "We have now irradiated 52% of the city and by God we won't stop until we've cleansed ever mircon. You understand me? You have 3 hours...FFFFFZZZZZZZFZFZFZZ" The connection sharply cut off forcing Silentfire to rip out the earphone and clutch her ear. During her conversation she had now reached the pinnicle of a large scrap pile and she gulped at the sight infront.

Blackmoon tried to yelp as another wave of pain forced him to clench his teeth. A spider the size of a dinner plate clung onto his chest, It was no ordinary spider. When the Scourge first encountered biological life it would at first enslave then replicate - with this species it had turned into some sort of twisted parody, bearing dozens of eyes with short bulbus body. By now he realised he was upside down but it was hard to tell in a place that didn't have a floor. What he did know was that he was inside the main body of the Scourge. A living, breathing mobile fortress and production facility that had almost 1% total Earth surface coverage. Once in bio-chemistry he used to marvel at it's efficancy of transfering resources through veins 50 metres wide of distances upto 400 kilometres. But now... he saw the Scourge for what it really was. From his maturation sack pinned to one of a thousand maturation lobes, he saw other Humans being infected and others being tortured beyond imagination.

Typing in another set of commands Silentfire determined she was exactly 24 metres from her target. Peering down from her nest of debris she saw a group Harbingers and Subums eating corpses from a local military clash.
f*cking fools, they should have ran She said bitterly. Then with a twist of her wrist the newly replaced power cell in her rifle sprang to life. She unclipped a small orb from her belt and jumped over the mound.

Here lies the account of [- data missing-] concerning the [- data missing-] on the [8/05/2049]----------------------------------------

Intermittent pulses from the agents’ Etheric rifle cleared a path in-front of her, clearing the way temporarily. She stepped over several fallen soldiers, all clad in dull silver armour, several still grasping their primitive rifles. On approach her pace quickened and she collapsed onto her knees rolling over a wounded man. Unlike the other corpses sub-humans hadn’t yet picked at him and still let out slow shallow breathes.

“Bluefire” she whimpered

“Urghhh…” came a delirious reply.

The young woman rolled up his shirt and inspected his body armour. Several deep slashes around his pelvic area bled freely matting the metal in a slick congealed blood. She turned her face away.

“Blue, I’m going to get you out of here.” She said unsurely.

“I’m going to call for an Evac, and…”

Momentarily the wounded mans eyes met hers and glimpsed recognition.

“SF, you’re here…, I , I know, she not three” he stuttered deliriously.

“Hang in there Blue.” Looking up Silentfire held her rifle up in-front of herself and shot three approaching subums. Another six gathered to her left where she let off another slip of the energy stream. Four more from the left and at least seven on the mound now approached. Catching a quick glimpse at the power reader she saw it was depleting rapidly. There was only one thing to do…

Un-holstering Bluefires ECP (EDIT - etheric cascade pistol) she lay it on his chest momentarily whilst adjusting her rifles control panel.

After entering in 51KJ she heard an increase in noise coming from the circular chamber in the stock and knew a particle cascade would shortly occur. She threw the rifle several metres away and it landed with a heavy thud, flicking up dust with it. Clutching the ECP and lifting Blue onto his feet she limped with him towards nearby cover. At this moment several subums that had stalked her from the mound now raced after them, she looked back and kept moving. 60,50, 35 metres 20… Suddenly an Ear splitting high-pitch squeal emitted from the rifle 20 metres behind her. A golden light poured out in a spherical pattern temporarily dancing on the face of the creatures before passing through their flesh. The warm glow dissipated leaving over eleven bodies falling to the ground.
Recuperating behind a concrete wall she held Bluefire and collapsed into a heap on the floor.
