well seing as some of you liked my last effort i thougt id work on something a bit more involved for you all:

at the moment nothing is fully finalised on this....im fairly happy with the clothing of the rear kengo...the foreground swordsman is yet to be started on....
background is just splash of colour to give me something to work on and let me judge depth and tonal ranges....
theres a long way to go yet...but i hope you like it so far...
im going to crop this one into much more of a widescreen size..so you should be able to display it on your pc's a bit better. ;)

heres an update for you all:

background changed to be more suitable....cloithing in its final stages of shadowing add highlights...
ice finally started work on what will end up being the fatal slice to the foreground warrior...
now..one of my friends kindly pointed out that the sword angle doesnt look right for the blow.....
ive used some artistsic judgement here...the angle of the sword compared to the blow would result in the blade barely being seen..and i wanted to make it clear where the sword was and what type of sword it is etc etc...so the sword angle was rotated slightly to make a better artistsic arangement! LOL

anyway...hope you like it so far
