not the whole army im afraid...The british Museum was allowed to bring a few of the full figures over as well as some horses and chariots etc etc
however having just perused this:
http://www.britishmuseum.org/whats_on/a ... ition.aspx
it appears that the exhibition wont allow photography whilst the rest of the museum does...grrrr...
sorry to get your hopes up....

lol those cheeky gits "you must leave bags with us. We'll charge you for the privelage, too." :p If museums are for posterity or whatever, and are free to enter (the one in Cardiff is, anyway), and anyone can see the stuff, why the hell is photography not allowed in them? :p Sometimes I wanna remember what I saw with my own eyes, not what some professional photographer decided I'd be allowed to buy in postcard form :p

ah well, hope it was interesting anyways

Could always do the sneaky pretend-to-be-on-the-phone-but-actually-be-takin-a-pic/video.

But then you'd probably get chucked out for being on the phone. Maybe... Not really sure how they'd treat someone who's having a very quiet conversation. Probably not very well, snooty museum types :D Nah it'd be understandable, for all they know the cretin could be trying to take photos!

the whole place was ful of security guards...and they stated at the entrance that all phones are to be turned off.
PLUIS...they actually had a couple of guys searching larger bags and suchlike as they entered the display.
