Hi folks I found this interesting video clip on the net about tamahagane forging process and I now understand why is sooooo expensive haha if the link doesn't work search "KATANA (samurai sword)" in google vids and enjoy ;)

Nope it's a different one, I edited the link, see if that one works, the actual clip is called "KATANA (samurai sword)" it shows the traditional methods and skill of the smithy

just tried it geordie seems to be fine now loved that katana with the carved dragon its a beauty for sure
got a couple similar with carved dragons on them not as expensive tho

Aye they are art! Lol it's takes more than 15 people over 6 month to make one tamahagane sword :|
