Accusharp knife and tool sharpener

Post by Geordie Ross » Fri Nov 04, 2011 4:54 pm

I've had this little thing for a while now and I've put it through it's paces so il stick a little review up.
The accusharp is so easy to use and the results are so quick and quality, I'm supprised the togishis don't use them, the ceramic blades don't damage the hamon of a sword (even acid enhanced hamons) and leaves a crisp sharp edge on all swords knifes axes ect, and for a nudge over £10 you can't go wrong ;)
Only problem is, if you like projects it doesnt give the same satisfaction that a whetstone does and it's versatility is fairly limited in comparison to the lanskey kits

If I ever find out that you’ve used that thing on your Tori, I’ll hunt you down and force you to commit seppuku with a broken bottle.

its allright for kitchen knives and the odd sheath knife or pocket knife but not for any quality
blades like the xl or any decent sword come to that

Wow I just noticed loz has trumped the accusharp with the lansky mini knife sharpener for £6! Same type type of sharpening system but cheaper
