my new khuikuri

hi guys
lookee what i got back two pounds and 20 inches of pure cutting power its carbon steel
and purple hardwood handle unfortunatly the sheath has lost its brass chape at some point
probably easy enough to make or get another one tho real knice piece hey geordie got any
spare room lols

Nice piece mate, loving that sheath, and I can't really see the "purple" handle too well lol.
And yes mick, I've got more space than I know what to do with!
Hmmm perhaps you would like to use my house as a storge depot? :mrgreen:

if you click the middle pic twice it will give you a larger pic and will be easier to see the colour of the
handle oh whats the going rate per square foot of free space by the way found a spare brass gizmo
for the end of the scabard the handle colour stands out better useing a flash on the camera must try that on a
better pic

Ahhh yea! Wow that's some very nice piece you got there mick! Is the wood dyed? and the space is absolutely free of charge! Heck, il even pay for the delivery haha :mrgreen:

purple heartwood is a natural colour and if i get bored with it i know you,ll give it a good home :D

just google (purpleheart wood) you will see all shades of purpleheart wood
some of which is absolutly georgeous especialy when polished with carnuba wax
