If you're a Trivium fan, like me, then take a listen to a band called 'Lost Eden'. They're from Japan and have been called the Japanese Trivium in the rock mags. I've had their album 'Cycle Repeats' for ages, I think it's great.

Hope the above link is allowed.

Cheers, Chris.

Pleased you liked them both Simon. I couldn't find the 'Lost Eden' cd in the shops when I was looking, I bought mine online from HMV, it's £7.99 with free delivery.

The new 'In Flames' album 'A Sense of Purpose' is due for release on April 7th, their last album 'Come Clarity ' is very good.

You might like a group called 'Sanctity', have a listen and see what you think.

Also listen to 'Enter Shikari', they're a post-hardcore band but they mix it with dance music, particularly Trance and Drum and Bass. In my opinion this mix shouldn't work but it just does. 'Take to the Skies' What an album!

Lost Eden seem pretty awesome. Speaking of Japanese bands, checkout Metal Safari:

Real Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down) vibe on the vocals.

One of my brother's friends from uni is mates with Enter Shikari, they grew up together. Though I don't really like them myself... Someone similar(ish, similar concept) who I like just cause they're so rediculous sounding (in a fun way) is the Mad Capsule Markets.

MAN! Sanctity are brilliant. "Beloved Killer"s a great track. I came across 'Enter Shikari' last year. A music producer friend I play keyboards for, had some of their music in his studio mixing rig and he was well impressed with their mix, as was I. You're right Chris, it should'nt work, but it does, and really well too. I'm gonna look out for the band's live dates if they have any. I'd really like to see how they perform to an audience. Thanks for sharing some gem stuff here! Cheers man, Simon.
