Greeting and salutations.

Postby LawrenceHuntington » Tue May 13, 2014 12:32 am

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and would like to present my formal introduction, my name is Lawrence and I am a 30 year old art director whose childhood dream was to own a sword, a couple of days ago that dream was fulfilled, now sights are set on expanding the collection and the knowledge, and I am sure I found the right place for that.

Cheers everyone :)

Welcome Lawrence, we can't call you Loz as we've already got one and he's the boss around here. :D

Knowing that I would probably mess up on maintenance and other rookie mistakes with my first sword I aimed for the one that seemed prettier (in my opinion) and less expensive, so I got the Last samurai sword from Koto that is featured on the first page of the handforged section I like simple swords with a straight forward design, no fancy business. And I am not an expert, far from it, and this i my very first sword but I like it, I like it alot and I will cherish it like a first born.
Next up is the practical plus then probably a tinker pearce although I am not sure its available.

I got a Last Samurai katana, I imagined it would be a good starter, plus its is a beautiful sword.
