I feel the need to show this off

Okay its not a sword but it is one of my most expensive commissions ever ( $100 trades dont count 8) ). The wood is ebony with carved leaves the vine pattern is inlyed silver and the flower at the end is also silver with a hand made garnet stud in the center. The bag its sitting on is made of chinese silk and made in the same style as a Japanese sword bag :D

Slightly better looking than those Harry Potter wands I think (H) Get some more pics up, specially of the carving. (in focus is always good) Nice work though.

Nope no macro function I checked a while back, in fairness its my parents camera when I get myself sorted after the move I'll get meself a good one.

Ha, my sympathies there, was a b*tch trying to get close up in focus photos of the damage to my nami saya for people. Would also like closer pics of the detail, though, hope you manage it :)
