I got a commission to make a bowie sheath, i don`t have the knife just a drawing of the blade. Made it of 3 layers of leather.
It`s done now, i hope he`s happy with the result and that it fits.

I dont even have a knife and I'd take it. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy.

If it didn't fit the knife in question, then i guess they'd be temporarily unhappy... but if it was me... it'd just be a matter of finding a knife that would fit it.

That was my thought, really. It's a beautiful design, I think the only thing to worry about is the blade fitting it, I can't imagine him not loving that

Very good job

, can`t take credit for the design tho found that on the web. I was thinking of tribal tattoo`s and found this one that i thought would fit this sheath.

I've got a tribal tattoo a bit similar to that, and it also reminds me of klingons. Excellent job.

Ogami.... could you make sheaths for existing blades? reason being.... i cant!
would be nice to have someone on hand that could do some nice work with leather. cus at the moment, im stuck with kydex, G10, wood, and other random thermoplastics!
or would you consider teaching (for a fee, of course) basic leatherwork? (or if possible, leatherwork to the same standard as yours? time permitting)
outsourcing sheath work, or learning myself would help me immencely.... lemmie know.

God i LOVE these things.
Im not sure what weapons will be used to fight WWIII, but i know that WWIV will be waged with wooden sticks.

but you're the one who put the design on the sheath... you may not have designed the pattern, but you damn-well deserve credit for an excellent job very well carried out man!!!
