too much time on my hands

gentlemen
i've been off for two days and put handles on my files that i use on my lathe and when making knives
woods are African Paduk, maple, purple heart, eppe, furrels are either brass, or copper t
tell me i ain't crazy!!!!

A mighty fine effort sir!

I love how they're all slightly different, how did you do it? Glue chunks together in layers then turn them on a lathe?

A friend was making cutting boards in a checkerboard pattern, he gave me the left-over wood and i really couldn't use it for much else so stacked glued , turned on the lathe and that's how they came to be.
