That's actually quite good for an artificial hamon, I didn't have high expectations but I'm rather impressed.

Hi Geordie

Thanks for that each time I do a blade it comes out slightly different there is no exact formula for the amount of salt in the water, and it also depends on the voltage and amp,s the Battery is giving.

There's a user on this forum called gooseman, he has a home made forge and made a tanto, then clay tempered it, I'll try find the topic and post the pic.
