Looks thicker than 2cm, probably just the angles you took pics of it from. Good curves though i like the shape.

Yeah.. probably just the angle. Ill be doing some finishing and the legs tomorrow as i get the PK and do some measuring on the saya.. dont wanna start over just because the "hands" are too small

Whoop de fu*king doo! The pk arrived this morning. unfortunately the bus arrived in the same bloody minute i got the package and had to leave for school.

Six hours till i get home.... cant wait..

I wold take my sword to school and opened it discretly somewhere somehow :).

Holy fu*k! Just got home and opened the package.. What a beast of a sword. I bloody love this thing!

In a perfect condition no rust at all or anything! and i bought it from eBay.. Its like winning a lottery...

anywho.. Im gonna go finish the stand any time this day now that i have the measurements..

lol.. I decided not to work on the stand today. Just watched Zatoichi (2003) and noticed its too dark and cold to work in the basement..

Heh lol. 2003? i thought it was 2004 *shrugs*. I recieved my Lady Snowblood Collection, Kill Bill Collection and Resident Evil Outbreak Pack this morning. Rules.

okay it might have been 2004, but you get the point..

anywho.. i got the pictures hosted on my ftp

I just love the quality of this katana. Definately not selling it any time soon.

And i even cut my fingertip open oiling the blade.. And the edge is supposed to be dull for the first 3 cm from the habaki, right?

But i must say it was worth every single penny i paid for it

one thing though... what happened to the hammon? i thought pks have better ones... i guess it must have been been resharpened by the previous owner... (H)

No. The sword arrived brand new in the styrofoam box. Factory oils still there. It might be just the photo and the edge looks very much like it hasnt been re-sharpened. Anywho even if the hamon is "defected" it is still a great sword and i dont regret buying it.

btw: just checked. The hamon is a bit more visible in real life. The blade was turned just so the reflection faded between the hamon and the blade itself.
