Posting Pics - An Idiots Guide

Post by Big Lazy » Sat Feb 09, 2008 6:07 pm

Ok folks there's been some confusion about hosting pics on the forum so here's a real easy guide to doing it.

1- First off simply click here -

2- Click on the tab that says 'Browse'

3- Find the pic stored on your PC that you wish to host and double click it.

4- Now simply click on the tab that says 'Host It' and it will upload the pic (usually takes a few seconds depending on the size)

5- You'll now see some code in boxes. Choose the fourth one called 'Hotlink for forums' and copy and paste the code to here.

Thats it folks, jobs done!

Its the same as tinypic which I use you dont have to sign up but if your going to want to use the pic again then you have to have an account with them or the images are deleted as soon as you leave the site. I havent used imageshack so I dont know if you have to select resize image on it you do on tinypic or the pics dont come through right.
