Re: MY HIGHLANDER COLLECTION
I've got a bunch of Highlander stuff myself. I got the McCloud broad sword, the Methos sword, the Duncan katana and Connor katana with etched signature and certificate of authenticity. Pics on here somewhere.

Re: MY HIGHLANDER COLLECTION
Very nice collection, Gavin. I have a Duncan kat, but it is the collared version. Has a good back story, tho.
The chap I bought it from originally got it from someone who worked on the show (I live in Vancouver). It is an original screen prop. No way to determine if it actually got any screen time, however. I like to think it did.
Apparently Marto shipped these units razor sharp, despite being screen props that would pose a safety hazard, and stainless to boot! Not for cutting, no siree.
My long-winded question is, what is the saya made of? Mine shipped with an aluminum saya. Is yours the same?
Cheers

Mine's metal too. Dont drop the Marto kats whatever you do as the rat tail tangs will snap like eye liners.
