Nah this one is too good lol :)
And they don't usually make sheaths for their smaller knifes, and I really can't find a sheath from cold steel for the greatsword

On the subject of sword without scabbards, I've noticed a lot of John Barrnet swords don't come with them, even the small ones like the Irish short sword, I have no idea why, the're not that big as to be prohibitive to make, yet other swords of his, like this one; http://www.blades-uk.com/large_pic.php?product_id=3008
do come with them, what's up wit dat?
BTW, absolutely awesome collection Ross, you do seem to prefer Scottish blades, may one enquire why?

Erm mainly because they're definitively British where as many can be classed as European as they look so similar

Looks cracking Ross, you have a few Koto Kats now if I'm not mistaken, do all of them have a more.......'severe' for want of a better word, curve than the Chen blades,
BTW, the Tachi looks perfect in the centre, :D

Cheers Martin, you'll find that the sori on every style of katana is different, but the tachi in particular has a very "severe" curve, the tsuka is short, stubby and curved. I can't recommend it high enough, buy one while you still can, lol as for the curvature of the Chen katans well their sori is much more balanced depending on their blade length.

Cheers for the info mate, my lack of knowledge on all things sword can be a little embarrassing, , but I at least everyone here helps with education on the subject, :D
I do hope to start collecting again, but it won't be until some time in the new year, I suppose the good thing is, even if I miss the Tachi, Loz will no doubt get yet another stunner in, take care mate, all the best, Martin, :D
