:D It didn't cost £8k ya numpty :D
8K was the series, the blade was folded 13 times which works out at 8192 layers, they also did a 4K and a 2K series which were cheaper, the UK retail price was £950+ depending on which options you chose in the semi-custom if you wanted 'em of course, the standard one came with red silk ito over black samegawa.
I bought mine from the USA which was cheaper and I know of a bloke who ordered one from the sole UK retailer, he paid a 50% deposit and he never got it or his money back coz the dude got several years in jail for drug dealing from his online store.

Ohhhhhh I see lol and that bloke must be furious! :| I doubt I'd ever buy a sword from the yanks, shipping costs cancel out any bargains and the border agency usually take you for a ride
Ps get some pics of your collection on here! Do you still have your bugei piece?

What do you think would look better between a pair of sai or a pair of kamas? Or a pair if butterfly knifes To go either side of the little wooden dragon statue?

you know geordie ive a very very nice damascus bladed 17inch tanto that would fill that space nicely
but honestly i cant see nunchuks fitting in with that display maybe another japanese bladed weapon
of somesort would fit in better i cant think of there name at the moment but how about the japanese
version of our hand sickle both left and right handed versions

Yep the Kama that's the sickle, I was going to get a pair of thoes instead of the sai but the sai fit better lol, I spotted a set of steel tonfa that could fit but im still indecisive and theres room to chop and change lol
Have you got a pic of that Damascus tanto Mick?
