Sorry Connor I think you've done something wrong, what I do is copy the IMG option and post it here into a post
And you get the pic posted in your reply

The F/S is a Third Pattern made by John Nowill and still available today I believe.

The OP has been edited twice James.
The F/S is the some one as on this page which I believe you have
http://blades-uk.com/search_results.php?q=sykes and mine is the same but much older than yours.
The bayonet (as below) is an early Type A with 'flash hider' for the FM FAL, Argentinian forces didn't have the L1A1 "fn s l r", FM isn't a typo, they were made by 'Fabricaciones Militares' in Argentina.

Hi conner, I think you've deleted the pics on photobucket, if you delete them the link is removed and the pics vanish
You can always just repost them

He could have posted a response to the answer I gave to his question about the F/S when he logged in early yesterday evening too...but chose not to for some reason.
I'm not sure that he has a Sam and Rosie yet.

i never knew they made a bayonet with a flash eliminator i just cant imagine that would work well.
id stick with moon on this one im not an expert on the FS but the type i want is the one with a cross hatched handle, curved cross guard and the etching on the base of the blade.
oh and moon was told by a squaddie at the weekend whos currently in the RE that they are still giving out FS knives but not for operational use he said they dont like giving out fighting knives for combat, must be a more civilised war than 70 years ago. Oh he was also very interested in our dummy explosives and said the manuals havent changed only the cover lol! (we were displaying home guard auxiliary at the time near coleshill house)

That'll be a First Pattern.
