@liquidator96 it's the once was the cheapest katana here with the 2 extra tubas, which was weird cuz u got more items compared to other kats!
i wonder, if the steel's this soft would it be possible to temper it at all? i really wanna attempt adding a hamon line on it but i've no idea about smithing...

Image

i hammered the ding a bit and it's less noticeable..

Image

tried sharpening it with my knife sharpener and yeah, need more practice XD

Image

the habaki is fading :x painted on perhaps?

Image

and finally PSA, swords aren't toys... see my finger here i cut exactly a week ago.. hasn't completely healed yet

with that cut you can now call yourself a collector lol that looks like a real brass habaki
to me only way to find out is to polish it up and see if it shines up like brass should

It sounds cool to be able to say my sword's tasted blood >:)
But append ', my own from a polishing accident' totally cancels it lol

tell you what teabag looking at the pic whatever you used to sharpen the katana
sure seems to have made a mess (scratch wise) of the blade you want to try some
meguires polysh (its spelt that way) to get rid of the scratches just an hours work
judgeing by the looks of the damage in the picture (get my polish from amazon any where
from £8.00 to £10 depending on seller)
