Practical kung fu broadsword vs ox tail dao

Post by Hatamoto » Wed Aug 16, 2006 11:26 pm

Anyone handled the ox tail dao?

Basically I had a good play with my friends broadsword earlier (Not confused, I swear), and I'm pretty much set on it, but while looking at various sword sites to find the best place, and came across the ox tail dao...

Basically, aesthetically, I prefer it on some chav level, I guess, but I'm concerned about the balance and weight of it, because the blade is consistently thick, rather than tapered, like the gong fu thinger..

So what I'm looking for is some confirmation if possible that the ox tail is still nice and easy to wield, and stuffs.
