yeah the saya was one of the reasons i bought it, in my opinion it just looks slightly classier then the one for the special edition bamboo

nice to see more authentic looking hamons then the wire brushed ones or the dreaded dragons teeth

Now thats a red I'd like looks cherry red under the flash, still prefer my se bamboo tho :P

And I've not forgot about the rosewood, I have actually taken pictures I'll put them up sometime this week hopefully, its my sons birthday today he's 3 so rather busy right now as boyfriends got the week off and all.

I think loz said its a simply soft core hard wrap, so either kobuse, or makuri.

well that narrows it down anyway, whatever the lamination though it's still a great sword :D
