All but a few small scratches it,s just about done, the sword as lost about an inch in length
but the reshape enhances the blade no end.

Hi

The top pic is of the brushed kissaki in other words no kissaki at all, so I like to put a correctly ground geometric kissaki on the swords I own. The bottom pic is of the work in progress, it needs a bit more work on it gust to get rid of the scratches and the final shape overall.

tell the truth your that ashamed of what you've done you,ve had to get rid of the photographic evidence lols :D
oh nearly forgot what type of battery you using as ive heard mention of a 9volt battery (the type in fire alarms )
to car batterys (12 volt) to battery chargers (for cars) also the higher the amperage the better the results any
truth in this that you know of.

Hi Mick

I use a 24 volt rechargeable Battery of a power drill,if you look on diy topics you can see the results. I am not sure what ampage it is but the more salt in the water the deeper the etch.

Hi
The goog bit about using salt is that you can do an etch and if it not deep enough you can add more salt and re etch with no problems.

Hi, there, i am intersting buying a samuria sword myself, any idea i can have my own desing, just dont mind paying more just for the desing. this is for my owen xmas presend, around £250 to £300.
