Damascus Karambit

Postby Lone Wolf » Wed May 21, 2014 11:02 am

The blurb
"8" when measured in a straight line from tip to tail. 5" sharpened, hand forged, Damascus steel blade which is 6mm thick at the spine. 5" handle, full tang with file worked brass fittings, stag handle grips and oversized lanyard hole. High quality leather sheath included. Custom made for us at a small traditional forge, stunning piece of work and an incredible introductory price"

I don't need to review it with words, a picture tells a thousand.

It is a lovely beast, my only misgiving is that the inlays don't match, one side is almost white, the other getting on for the brown side. As is traditional with these the sheath smells and needs airing, I give it a stink raiting of 2 and a half out of five, its by far the least stinky one I've had.

I can see the difference in the inlays from your pics, but these are rather unique pieces & I would expect the odd non-uniform feature.
It is a stunner, didn't think it was that big, yet another good 'un! :D
