Value of boxed Hanwei Dadao

Postby sinnerboy69 » Wed Dec 19, 2012 4:35 pm

I have a Hanwei Dadao i bought about a month ago. Still new and boxed, never used or even displayed, I just had it out once to coat it in Renaissance Wax. It cost me £140 posted. I've decided I'd like to sell it to fund another item I saw on Blades UK. mod delete sinner see my post below mick

You can sell your items on the blades UK main page, you'd best email or call up for a value.

sinnerboy
sorry but you aint allowed to sell on an open forum
heres what you can do call the owner lawrence no,s
on the main page he,ll sell it for you now he might even
part ex it for you towards the new item (im not speaking for lawrence)
so its not certain he,ll do that but call him and see what he says
im afraid its the only option open for you call him and let us know how you get on

Hi Mick. Yes, i am indeed aware of the fact we aren't allowed to post them for sale on open forums, not to mention or classifieds or ebay, etc. I wasn't trying to advertise it, i was simply stating how I'd probably hold on to it if i didn't get said figure, although on reconsideration I suppose someone could be forgiven for thinking that was an asking price.. Nevertheless, I will indeed get in contact with Lawrence at Blades (after the holidays, don't want to hassle him now) and see what can be arranged then. I will indeed keep you all posted. Thanks, ;)

P.S. Thanks Geordie Ross also..

hi sinnerboy
its not a problem just pointing out your best option it is a pity your wanting to
part with it as i,d thought with it no longer in production and it becoming a
rarity you want to keep a bit longer as its second hand value might be worth
a bit more in a year or so its worth thinking about and see if you can fund your
new piece another way by the way what is it your after

Yea I was thinking that, there's now a limited number of them, no new models being forged, collectors dream lol
