the characters mean Kill Bill lol

i had thought about putting varnish on it but dont really want it too shiny so what ill do from time to time is wax polish it

i think it looks alright, not great but then i only spent about an hour on it the day while at work lol

what iam going to do is use a little RENAISSANCE WAX POLISH when it arrives, i had thought about getting some brass corners but i think it would be a step to far lolol

honestly the pictures make it look lighter due to using the flash, when i wax it iam going to see about getting better picks without the flash

Looks good. Put a nice thick coat of buffed wax on it to flatten out the grain and it'll look the dogs danglers. Why not get a nice menuki and cut it into the front face ( like an escutcheon )?

pj hi
somthing ive just remembered some time ago im not sure if it was on this forum or not some one had the bill sword
and did a rather interesting mod on it the they used a blue metal dye on the raised portion of the devil head leaving
the grooves making up the face undyed with very nice results its somthing for you to think about the dye could have
been of the type used on rifles and pistols making it nearly permanant theres a similar dye used by engineers used in marking
out patterns on steel but could be a bit bright (more like electric blue).

i like the idea, i think it would put it into the grooves without staining the blade as knowing me i would like the colour on the blade and not stop at the demon face lolol
