Force FX Saber Troubleshooting

Postby VivaLaJam26 » Fri Dec 04, 2015 11:15 am

I've had my Anakin Force FX lightsaber since 2009, and until now it's been working fine.

Basically whenever I turn it on, there is a very low buzzing sound that plays, as well as the blade not lighting up any more.

I've replaced the batteries (with engerizer from Druacell) and noticed that there is some "crusting" on the negative battery spring, but that has been there for years.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this at all, It's a 2005 Master Replica Anakin EP3 lightsaber, if that helps!

alltho as you say the crusting/corrosion has been there a while its possible
that finally got to much for your sabre to handle it and that's causing the problem
clean it off back to bare metal and see if that helps if it don't I don't know what to suggest
sorry
