Need a good pic of the maker's mark but it's definitely a firemans axe - in use up until the 1970s.

BTW
Aren't you the guy who was known as just 'Legion' here at one time? :S

I believe that since the forum went belly up after it was deliberately sabotaged by a twatbag Administrator with the username 'Simoriax' years ago, all members had to sign in again using their original email address and those who couldn't for one reason or another have to re-register and they can't have their old username because it's already taken.
That's how I recall it anyway.

cheers for letting me know it is a firemans ax,and yes i did go by legion on here a few years ago but i could not log in with so i created a new profile,i hope this is not a problem. I would take a better pic of the makers mark but the head is rusted and i need to get around to cleaning up,any advice on how to do this,it seams to be only a light rust.
