i'm not all that keen on the shinto, plus if your going for a customised PPK then it'll be that bit better and more different if thats what you wanted. i think the PPK would look better and you'd feel more comfortable swooshing it then a more expensive one. but then i dont know if you have them purely for display or if you use them for anything.

lol, nah, I work nightshift at my local Sainsbury's stacking shelves. its a pants job, but it pays well enough for my liking.
And el tigregrande, I have the Orchid, not the GO. jfyi.

I stand corrected Daigatano but if you can do get both you know you want to.

thing is, i need to choose because i dont have a large amount of space on my wall. all the choices i make usualy have SOME restriction, more often than not space. i can only get one of them, and its looking good for the Shinto - and, i must admit, my own preference is swinging that way to.
But i shall let the masses speak first.
And feel free to call me Daig if its easier. most others do, its no problem.

don't mean to be rude but how can you work at sainsburys stacking shelves (in your own words a pants job) and be able to afford the Kami katana?...
do you live at home?,

Why dont you try being original and NOT get a PC katana - either of these will probably be a disapointment compared to the orchid anyway.
Posted: Wed Feb 04, 2004 4:53 pm
yeah, how about somethnig like the bagua?
Posted: Wed Feb 04, 2004 6:48 pm
Adurul, its an interesting idea, but there arent any other PC weapons i really fancy. Ive never really been too fond of the chinese broadswords and things, like the bagua or willow leaf. Also, compared to the Orchid they are different, but in my mind not inferior (apart from a non-folded blade). the Orchid strikes me as more of an ornamental katana, its very showy, lots of gold and silver on it. things like the PPK or the Shinto look a little more authentic, hence my reason for wanting one.
and Reverend, in one paycheck i get 680-odd pounds, so if i save for two months thats a kami saved for.
and yes, i live at home.

Do a forum search for Wind and Thunder, there's quite a few pics in several threads.
