Help me decide which sword

Post by Jaques » Wed Aug 18, 2004 3:15 pm

I'm looking for a functional, but affordable sword. These two are at the top of my list:

Full Tang Ninja Sword
30" Overall with a 20" sharpened stainless steel blade. Black Cord wrapped handle. Comes with black wooden back scabbard

Chinese Sword
24.5" Overall with a thick 13.7" sharpened stainless steel blade with blood groove. Black cord wrapped handle with stainless guard. Black leather sheath is included

Which one do you think I should get?

Personal taste comes into this a lot I think.

I don't like the straight blades on the Ninja swords, so the Chinese one gets my vote.

what degree of functionality do you require/expect from your next purchase ?

if more than soft fruit and thin cardboard i would just save up and get a pratical katana (paul chen carbon steel) as it will last longer be much safer and is much much nicer to look at than either of the "swords" in the poll, i would get the chinese one as it looks a bit stronger then the other if i had to choose ...

kind regards

Why not just save up for a Paul Chen Banshee or Dadao?

It's not me wanting to get these swords, it's one of my friends, but I decided it would be easier to just write it out like it was me gettin them. I personally think he should get the Ninja Sword.

And I'm gonna get either the PPW or PK for xmas.
